Let's get to it.
15. ROBBIE LAWLER VS MIKE PERRY
I mean, first of all, who wouldn’t want to see this fight? As for Lawler, it hasn’t been the best winning streak but it is hard to think of someone with such a past who oozed power.

Perry actually wants to fight Lawler at UFC 245 on December 14th. I think that would be perfect. Two scrappers who literally don’t care about anything but ripping the others face off. The old Lawler we would get that.
But it’s hard not to think I you think it would be the same with Perry?

Only time will tell.

14. ANTHONY SMITH VS THIAGO SANTOS 2
These two have fought before back in February of last year. Smith lost to a TKO in the second round.
After both getting the chance to fight Jon Jones, I don’t see why these two can’t go at it one more time.

Especially with the way the rankings are with them both being in the top five. I can only imagine Smith wanted to get some type of justice for the loss on his record.
And he is ready.

Also, I personally don’t think he should get another title shot until facing Santos again.

13. FRANCIS NGANNOU VS JAIRZINHO ROZENSTRUIK
After Rozenstruik TKO’d Overeem in the fifth round there was only one man on his mind who he wanted to fight and that was Francis Ngannou. Rozenstruik remains undefeated which leaves his record open wide to be tested.

Seems like Ngannou is down since he even made a response.
What do you think of this fight? I think it will only be a matter of time until these two heavyweights knock each other out.

With one power strike or another.

12. FRANKIE EDGAR VS ALJAMAIN STERLING
As for Edgar, he is actually replacing Brian Ortega, who had to step out of the fight, against Korean Zombie on December 21st. Edgar recently moved from lightweight down to featherweight and depending on the result of this fight will say a handful.

I know, I know... this fight may never happen given the fact that neither of them fights in the same weight class at the moment.
Meanwhile, as Sterling is making a lot of noise, the climb to the top is pretty clear for Sterling. This bout intrigues me a lot because Edgar is a legend. Not only would this be a nonstop fast pace matchup for no reason whatsoever, but in the end, It would be a big win for Sterling because of the name.

As of now, it seems Edgar has a lot of baggage taking this fight with Chan Sung Jung at UFC Busan.

11. AMANDA NUÑES VS GERMAINE DE RANDAMIE
All the way back in 2013 these two women have faced each other. It wasn’t the best moment for GDR as she lost within the first round to a promising TKO. As the years have gone by since both bantamweight and featherweight talent have changed drastically.

Nuñes has been doing nothing but making history because the first 2 double belt Champion AND A FINE LESBIAN AT THAT.
Meanwhile, the run for GDR starting fresh in the featherweight division didn’t go as planned after she won the belt.

They are both killers. Whether people continue to give GDR hate or not, there is no one else for Nuñes to fight. And I feel most will be surprised at the scrap.

10. JUSTIN GAETHJE VS KEVIN LEE
I MEAAAAAN neeeeeed I fuuuuuucking say more. Honestly, LOL. This fight would be really fun. Every time Gaethje fights seems like he stumbles near death but somehow comes through incredibly dominant.

As for Kevin Lee, you either love him or you hate him. The mock of personalities would be perfect while in the same room together. This would be the bout of the century and someone needs to grant it to me.

Sadly, with McGregor being in the picture who knows how long it is going to take for someone ELSE to fight for that belt. So this is the perfect time to make this fight.

9. ROSE NAMAJUNAS VS TATIANA SUAREZ
Even though we don’t know what is going on with Namajunas as far as retiring or not, you can’t put her in the equation.

Do I feel that Suarez should get the title shot? Sure. But I also feel it is pretty warranted to fight the former Champion before doing so.

Namajunas is out there right now making movies and living her life. Not sure if the desire to become a Champion is still in the cards, but I know it is for Suarez.
The perfect matchup will tell so we can soon see where this division is headed.

8. HENRY CEJUDO VS JOSEPH BENAVIDEZ 2
There isn’t anyone else that makes sense for Cejudo at the moment to defend his belt against. Benavidez is more than warranted for the title shot.

Cejudo has been running around all CRINGE-LIKE and such, but there is only one direction for him to go if he is focused. And that is a rematch.

Benavidez wants it because Cejudo is the only one left to prove something. It has been three years in the making since the TUF finale in 2016. It is time to put the title on the line and get this fight over with.

7. JON JONES VS DOMINICK REYES
OK. There has been some kind of curse whenever fights go a fight Jon Jones and they just don’t win. Every fighter that comes forward we THINK they are going to do the unthinkable, but then they don’t.

With everything that Reyes has been doing in that Octagon recently on paper, there is no better person that deserves it right now. Will Reyes succeed? I don’t know. But it is cool to think about optimism sometimes.

I’m sure not that Jones isn’t going back and forth with Izzy on Twitter anymore because he might actually have some time to slightly prepare for this fight if not.
Furthermore, February 8th at UFC 247 is when this fight will go down.

6. WEILI ZHANG VS JOANNA JEDRZEJCZYK
Not that many people knew who Weili was when she stepped into the UFC against some big names. But I’m sure she shut them all up because this girl was born to fight.

The back and forth because she and Joanna have been happening here and thee in the background.

But now that both these women are free with wins, they are ready for each other.
Do you think this is Joanna’s time to gain what she has lost?
Will she once again become a Champion?
My body is ready to answer all these.
WELP, because Dana White confirmed the fight is happening and I seriously can’t wait.

5. JORGE MASVIDAL VS COLBY COVINGTON
I mean, who wouldn’t want to see two former friends and/or training partners fight each other? Especially when you just rrrrrreaaaaally want to see one get beat?

Even though Covington has a fight scheduled with Usman on December 14th for the belt, I feel the fight with Masvidal should happen either way.
JUST BECAUSE whyyy not?!

You would think at some point these two can’t avoid each other forever. Masvidal is the current BMF Champion and sure he is gonna want another belt on his shoulder soon.

4. YOEL ROMERO VS ISRAEL ADESANYA
This fight is going to happen at some point, but I don’t know when. Romero has been known to be that scary fighter no one wants to get inside the Octagon with.

But ever since Izzy has been putting his talent on blast to the world, the dominance of taking fights seems to be in the favor of the Champ.
The good thing is both fighters have already agreed to face each other in the cage. But do you think Izzy will continue to glide through the division and successfully defend against Romero??

I don’t know either but I want to see if he does.

3. ROBERT WHITTAKER VS DARREN TILL
It was a sad moment for me to watch Robert Whittaker lose his belt to Izzy.

I wasn’t sure how he was going to take the loss and come back, but honestly not sure why I even questioned it.

As for Till, he is doing cartwheels after that Kelvin Gastelum fight at UFC 244.
Is he finally ready for Whittaker?
Let’s hope it happens.
_________________________
2. DONALD CERRONE VS CONOR MCGREGOR
The ONLY really reason, why I’m feeling this fight, is because I seriously want the biggest payday for Cerrone ever.

This fight is already scheduled for UFC 246 in Las Vegas on January 18th.
It can’t come soon enough.

Let’s also hope that the shining light is on Cerrone this time and not so much McGregor.

1. KHABIB NURMAGOMEDOV VS TONY FERGUSON
THIS. FIGHT. NEEDS. TO. HAPPEN. For reasons well ALL fucking know.

I swear I feel my body has been reborn two times over just waiting for this. Also, we just can’t get too excited apparently otherwise it won’t happen.

So on that note, I’m signing off.
